Warranty Policy

Shattered Concepts balisongs is not responsible for warrantying any part of the balisong if it shows signs of misuse or damage from drops or throws.

 

If you receive your new product and it has any of the issues listed below, Shattered Concepts will fix any of the problems below within 14 days of receiving your product with no shipping or hardware replacement fees. This does not include replacing damaged trainer blades or handles from normal use of the balisong.

 

After 14 days, but under 30 days of receiving your productShattered Concepts will fix any of the issues listed below at the cost of the buyer paying for shipping and hardware fees. Shattered Concepts has the right to void warranties on products that were used in any unintended manner.

 

Every balisong is carefully inspected and tuned prior to shipping. If you are not experienced in tuning your balisong and damage the item, Shattered Concepts will not warranty the handles or blade. You have the option to order replacement parts.

 

Tuning and hardware issues:

● Spinning pivot screws

● Stripped hardware

● Loose screws

● Tap

● Stuck pivots

 

Defects from manufacturer:

● Loose pressed zen pins

● Missing pins or pieces

● Defects on products not labeled as “blemished”

 

To Begin Your Warranty Process:

Please send an email to shattered.concepts@gmail.com to inquire about your return. Please provide a description of the issue with your product as well as any photos and/orvideos to help access the condition of your product.

 

Please include the following in the email:

Your full name, order number, model name and color.

Following this request, you will receive an email with a form you must fill out and print to include with your product for shipping. Along with this form, if you are within 14 days of your product purchase, you will also receive a shipping label to print and attach to your warrantied product for shipping.

 

If you are outside of your 14-day warranty period, but within 30 days of receiving your product, you will receive shipping information to ship your warrantied product back for repair 

If the purchaser does not include the warranty form with the product, the item will not be warrantied until the form is received. If this form is not included with the product, the purchaser will pay for shipping fees to return the warrantied item back to them.

 

If the customer is still within 14 days of sending the warrantied item without the form, the item will be shipped back to the buyer. They may resend the product with the required form. Shipping will be paid by the buyer for the warrantied item.

 

Shattered Concepts is not liable if your return was to be stolen, damaged or lost in transit by the carrier. Contact the carrier for resolution.

 

The customer assumes all risks when shipping their return or warranty.

 

If your warrantied item is received, Shattered Concepts has the right to deny and void your warranty if the item arrives in an unsanitary or altered condition, this includeblood, dirt, damaged, or modified products. If this occurs, the customer will pay for the shipping to return their item back to them.

 

The customer may receive an email with instructions they can take to possibly fix their product if Shattered Concepts does not think a warranty is necessary. If the steps to fix their product have been performed properly and did not work, contact us to begin the warranty claim.

 

If your product is eligible for warranty and is shipped with the required form. Shattered Concepts will fix or repair the item and provide a written description of what has been replaced or repaired.

 

If your item is out of the warranty period, Shattered Concepts can still perform any repairs or tuning for a cost. Consumer incurs all expenses.
